Club Meeting Information
We usually meet the first and third Thursday of each month at the Land o’ Lakes Curling Club, 301 St. Joseph St., Tweed Ontario. The 7 p.m. meeting is preceded by a social hour starting at 5:30 and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Note: see the Club Calendar for current information.
Pavilion Rentals
The Kiwanis Club of Tweed maintains the historic Pavilion in Tweed Memorial Park, however bookings are handled by the Municipality of Tweed (613-478-2535; e-mail ). Enjoy birthdays, weddings, reunions, retirements, anniversaries, meetings at this lakeside hall built in 1929. Learn more in our rental poster or the Pavilion brochure!
On July 18, we presented two more donations: one to the Erin Palmateer Community Pool, attended by members of Municipality of Tweed Council (Jim Flieler, Peter Valiquette, and Jamie DeMarsh) as well as Kiwanians Peter McConnell, Michael York, Bill Summers, Don DeGenova (wearing two hats as Mayor and Kiwanian), Chris Foran and Bob Sills. Kids and instructors were busy conducting classes 😀. The other donation to the Tweed and Area Heritage Centre was accepted by Tammy Meeks from Kiwanians Peter McConnell, Michael York and Bob Sills. We really appreciate all the community support for our fundraising activities (e.g., our community lottery, annual chicken BBQ on Aug. 15 - have you got your tix yet?), which directly contribute to these initiatives. #tweedkiwanis#KidsNeedKiwanis...
