On Jan. 22, representatives from the Hastings and Prince Learning Foundation made a presentation about their 'Have You Heard' campaign and why it is so important to young learners. The initiative will equip local classrooms with sound field amplification systems that distribute a teacher’s voice evenly throughout the classroom, ensuring that every student—no matter where they sit—can hear instruction clearly.

A question was asked regarding how many soundfields are planned for Tweed Elementary School. There are 10 classrooms that will be equipped with this technology by the end of this campaign, and six of them have already been installed. The Club is considering making a contribution to help secure funding for the final four.
